The diverse team, known as Invianers, works across five countries: Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary. The Invia Group operates several popular portals including ab in den urlaub, invia.cz, travelplanet.pl and invia.hu. 

The Group Performance Director is responsible for driving new customer acquisition through a centralised strategy which is managed on a group level. The aim is to ensure a consistent and aligned execution of performance marketing efforts across all markets of the Invia Group (DACH & CEE).
In addition, lies the primary focus in optimising key channels, including PPC, Display/Programmatic and Social Paid. The role also emphasises optimising ad spend and aligning all activities with the Invia Group’s overall performance marketing strategy.
By centralising performance marketing under the Group Performance Director, the Invia Group ensures a harmonised approach, leveraging tools and technologies to maximise efficiency and results. Integration of AI tools will also play a key role in refining marketing activities and enabling cutting-edge performance marketing solutions.

Your tasks

  • Strategy Development & Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive performance marketing strategy whilst focusing on new customer acquisition.
  • Centralised Marketing Execution: Centralise performance marketing efforts across all markets, ensuring a consistency of strategy and execution within the Invia Group.
  • Team Leadership & Optimisation: Lead performance marketing teams, including PPC, Display, Programmatic, and Social Paid, to optimise marketing spend and drive efficiency.
  • Tools & Technology Integration: Ensure the integration and optimisation of performance marketing tools and technologies for maximum efficiency.
  • AI Integration: Integrate AI tools harmonise AI with other technology and tools to excel the outcome of the performance marketing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage cross-functional collaboration with various teams, including SEO, content, and data analytics, to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics to improve ROI and optimise the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Financial Efficiency & Budget Management: Maintain a budget-conscious approach, ensuring the financial efficiency of all marketing initiatives.

Your profile

We are looking for a highly experienced marketing leader with a deep understanding of performance marketing and a high proven ability to drive strategy and results within an international organisation.

  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead and manage diverse marketing teams, fostering collaboration and driving results across PPC, Display, and Social Paid channels.
  • Performance Measurement & Optimization: Expert in tracking, analysing, and optimising marketing performance metrics like ROAS, CPA, and LTV to ensure campaign effectiveness.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Strong proficiency in using data and analytics to make informed decisions and pivot strategies for a maximum ROI.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled in collaborating with SEO, content, and analytical teams to ensure alignment and consistency in marketing efforts.
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and executing high-level strategies that align with business goals and drive new customer acquisition.
  • Financial Acumen & Budgeting: Ability to manage and allocate marketing budgets efficiently, ensuring cost-effective ad spend and financial performance.
  • Knowledge of Digital Tools & Platforms: Deep understanding of PPC, Display, Social Paid, and programmatic platforms, including marketing automations and automation tools.
  • AI Tools Integration: Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to optimise ad targeting, bidding strategies, and predictive analytics for an enhanced marketing performance.Integration of AI tools to optimise and increase efficiency in all performance marketing processes up to AI generated creative creation.
  • Strong Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to present insights and strategies clearly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in for marketing initiatives. Ability to communicate fluent in English. 
  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly adapt to market changes and optimise campaigns as needed.
  • Project Management: Expertise in managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all levels.
